    Interview Session (25%)

    Each contestant will participate in an interview with our panel of judges. We have 6 judges on a panel. Interview will begin with a self-introduction. Interviews will be conducted a day before the competition for judges to meet the contestants when not in any pressure. The judges will assess how natural she is and whether or not whether one will be able to relate to her peers and the audiences and groups she will need to serve. They will be looking for someone who has a strong ability to communicate as well as valid opinion , well supported, and very well communicated. They will examine her personality, personal appearance, attractiveness, and physical beauty. Determine whether or not she is a leader and has a sense of accomplishment and has the knowledge and commitment to her community that is needed in this job. Does she really understand her platform issue and how she benefits the Miss Plus Size Organization through her involvement? Each contestant should prepare a presentation or be able to talk about their type of appearances and support of a cause that they will do through volunteering during their reign.

    Cultural Wear - 25%

    Contestants have to wear something that expresses their culture, nation and identity.This will be judged on confidence, poise, modeling ability and stage presence. (2017 we are adding a stand alone prize for BEST DRESSED TRADITIONAL WEAR).

    Fashion Pant Wear-25%

    All delegates must carry themselves with dignity, poise and sophistication. Judges will be evaluating how well her choice of apparel suits her (such as fit, color, and style) as well as her on-stage presentation. Fashion Pant Wear Details: Attire should be dressy. This should be a pants suit or pants and blouse that one would wear to a cocktail party. It should be in good taste and not provocative or too tight. No dresses, please. Judging Criteria: Modeling ability, personality, grooming, and poise.

    Evening Gown - 25%

    They will wear something that expresses their style and is age-appropriate. Low cut dresses should not be worn. In the same respect, high cut dresses and low-back dresses should be considered inappropriate. Gowns must be floor-length. Evening Gown will be judged on poise, stage-presence, modeling ability and grace.

    Miss Plus Size Global is a brain child of Samantha Sibanda a Zimbabwean based in Beijing China. Ms Sibanda a plus size herself started this competition in China in April 2015 after realizing the huge stereotypes that people had about plus size women.
